Edit Dear PvX:
I am disapointed in the quality assurance standard maintained by your site...
The editor's routinely lie and call it sarcasm.... So funny.
I spent quite a few hours extolling the virtures of some builds i had devoloped and was smart enough to hang on to.
In general, the only thing the 'community' managed to come up with regarding my sharing was noise and deletion of valable builds than ran perfectly well.
Your standards and policies need some improvement. For one, set minium time periods for various stages of build publishing.
build-stub
one day.
Test-build
1 week and give ppl a chance to play with your mostly free bits and web space. Your deletion of a Good build is no big insult to me, but it it becomes very clear pvx cares nothing for Good or Better builds quite quicky.
Get your heads out of your asses... Good can become Great if handlled by a craftsman.
Sincerely,
Gerald Lindsly "Gero Wizhard"
PS... Don't bother to apply for membership at cnub.org. I have my own wiki you can't edit.

Hi Gerald.
Nobody cares.
Sincerely,
Auron
P.S. try to spellcheck your emails in the future, it was a little hard to read that last one.

To Gerald Lindsly:
I won't deny that PvXwiki has degenerated into a terrible state. However, I'm guessing you are GeoWizhard and you're angry over your 3-day ban. It was not done out of malice, but to give you a chance to cool off and separate yourself from a build page. Other users provided several reasons why the builds you submitted were not optimal when compared to builds already on the wiki, but you basically ignored them and continued to spam arguments that had already been addressed. I didn't see all the pages that you contributed to before the ban, so it would help if you linked to specific instances of policy violations instead of making general statements. There are only 3 active admins currently (including myself), and we do not catch everything on our own.
Sincerely,
Wrenn Sherwood

Ok. Cool-off period granted. Maybe you could even earn a membership here.

Hey Gerald. Auron's response was obviously terse, but it wasn't far off the mark. First of all, let's dispense with the obvious: PvXwiki can be edited by anyone and everyone, and administrators aren't likely to intervene unless site policy is being violated/unless someone an editor does something particularly egregious that isn't covered by policy, so short of implementing policies like "No Sarcasm" or "No Lying" or vetting every individual potential contributor, it's nigh impossible to ensure a particularly civil (for lack of a better word) community. The fact is that PvX has a shitty community; we all know it. There've been some attempts to remedy that fact, but none of them have been terrifically successful, in large part because the site's build-oriented nature tends to inherently promote elitism.
As far as your build is concerned... I'm afraid that those are the breaks. Much to the surprise of most of the original editors, PvX became (and as far as I'm aware, remains) a halfway decent build compendium. It's nowhere close to perfect, but the vetting system is probably as close to reasonable as is pragmatically possible. Oh, and just because a build "runs perfectly well" doesn't mean we're obligated to maintain it. The fact that a great player can do well with a subpar build is also not relevant to the process. In fact, we're not obligated to maintain it under any circumstances if the community decides not to so do. In short: get over it.
Furthermore, if you think that the site would benefit from a policy alteration, feel free to propose it, and the community'll decide one way or the other. There's a process for these kinds of things, and it doesn't involve editors sending mass emails to the administrative staff.
Finally... why in the world would I want to edit your wiki? I must say that your postscript is extraordinarily childish. It's like a tyke with a shiny new ball who shows it to a group of other kids and then proceeds to revel in saying that they can't play with it. On a related note, no, bashing PvX on your wiki/posting these conversations on your wiki for furture reference, asking for permission to post private communications is generally considered courteous (you're welcome to post this one by the way) isn't going to sway anyone's opinion.

Maybe could edit to correct a mistake or two or give someone advice?

Maybe you should have some idea who you are talking to before you Yimmer-Yammer...
Public info is public. I don't have any problem with sharing my private info most of the time. Depends on who I'm talking to and if I am in a sharing mode.

Here at CNUB, we keep our Loco pretty well tuned up... Not sure we wanna cool the damn thing off.

I will put my laws in their hearts, and I will write them on their minds."
Then he adds:

Gerald, was it?
To echo Auron and D.E., no one cares. We are well aware that our community has all the appeal of a polished turd and there's little we could do or care to do.
Oh, and why in the world would we want to join your wiki? I'm sincerely confused by that offer....
